Hello...
Need some help with Azure VPN Client. Our organization had set up a VPN gateway with P2S using azure certificate. Upon importing azurevpnconfig.xml to Azure VPN client and when I click on Connect button for that endpoint I'm seeing following error message in Status logs. On multiple clicks of connect button a popup appears briefly(less than couple of seconds) and autocloses without displaying any info.

Run diagnostics report is also attached.
Same config file is working fine for other colleagues in organization. I made sure all the information entered into azure vpn client is correct. Noticing the same error on two different config files.
I must be missing something. Any advice on what the issue is?

You have mentioned "Run diagnostics report is also attached" but there is no attachment in this thread. Could you please attach the diagnostics report again?
Also, I have seen similar issues in few cases (especially Windows clients) where it is related to Windows updates on those particular clients. Could you please check if there are any pending Windows updates for your machine, install them and try connecting to VPN post machine reboot?

Thanks for your response. I have attached diagnostics report again.. could you please check. Also as you suggested I have rebooted my machine, made sure all windows updates are up-to date. But the issue is still present.

The diagnostics report do not have any errors and everything looks fine. Since, you mentioned the same config file is working fine for other colleagues in organisation, your issue could be related to AAD or Windows Networking and it may require deeper investigation with further log collection. Hence, if you have a support plan, I request you to file a support ticket, else please do let us know, we will try and help you get a one-time free technical support. In this case, could you send an email to azcommunity@microsoft.com referencing this thread as well as your subscription ID. Please mention "ATTN gishar" in the subject field.

I was not able to test this on a different computer at this moment working on it. But as I mentioned in my question other users in organization were able to connect successful with same config file.

I tried the same config on a different computer and it works, but if i cancel the popup for the log in details that would display the same error as the one that doesnt popup the sgnin dialog.
What im trying to say there might just be the pop up problem, Its probabbly not finding the box or the tab is just hidden?
Any information on how to fix it can be very helpful.

Same problem here,
when i try to connect to a vpn i have this error : Credential Dialog Canceled
and its seems like a pop-up opens and close immediately,
maybe the connexion pop-up,i can't find why or which application closes this popup but i still can't connect to my vpn

I have seen the similar kind of issue with one of my clients' laptop. What we found there that the client has a Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) enabled and it was not popped-up during the Azure VPN Client initiation stage.
What we did was:- We temporarily disabled the MAF for that user (for help, see answer from EmilyDu-MSFT here)
- We removed the existing VPN Profile from the Azure VPN client
- We deleted the Azure VPN software and reboot the machine.
Then we reinstall the Azure VPN client and re-import the VPN profile and user was able to successfully log into the VPN. Later we re-enabled the MFA for the user. Let me know if that works.
