Can we notify the user via email when the user is added as a member to a Azure active directory group

    What if the Global Admin adds a member to the SG, will the other SG admin be notified?

    @Regin Moses Jebaraj , thank you for reaching out. Yes, in the case of Dynamic Groups, when the user gets added to a dynamic group based on the Group Rule, the user gets notified by a Welcome Email. more details on this can be found here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/users-groups-roles/groups-create-rule#turn-on-or-off-welcome-email

    For General Security and Microsoft 365 Groups, if the option of users requesting to join a group is enabled, then once the Group Owner accepts the requests from the user, the user gets notified. More details on this can be found here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/active-directory-manage-groups#can-users-join-groups-without-being-assigned
