MS RDP for mac stopped working

I used Microsoft Remote Desktop for mac (v10.7.9) for some months already in a macbook air M1 machine.
Some days ago my mac got, I think, a system update to Monterey v 12.6, and RDP ceased working

When I start a connection, I can see the usual Windows login screen, but after one second or two the window disappears and there is no way to bring it back in view.

Is it a known bug? Can I be confident that it will be addressed in little time? Is there a workaround?

    The best way to report an issue is to go to Help > Report an Issue within the RDP app. We are community support on this forum and are not the development team for the app.
