How to Merge Client purchased domain with windows server 2019 local AD DS?

We have purchased a domain . Now we want to merge it with our local AD DS (windows server 2017/2019).
can anyone help us about the steps we need to take to complete this issue?

Hi,

You will need to add the custom domain in the AD Console and you should be able to use as UPN if you are planning to, please check the steps here add-a-domain-to-the-active-directory
