Multi-channel surround sound weird on Windows Laptop. What can I do?

So, I bought my Multi-channel home theater two weeks back and they were working fine until today when I watched gameplay videos on YouTube (on a Windows laptop). It is working absolutely fine with Mac but a slower sound bothers me when using Windows.
Nothing seems to help. Is there a problem with my Multi-channel home theater or a compatibility issue with Windows? Please help.
I purchased Rockville HTS56 1000w 5.1 Channel Home Theater System by following the guide on the headphone beast website.
