Origin Timeout Events
Hi there,
We've recently started to utilise Azure FD for all of our web apps, which has mostly been working fine. However, we keep getting the following OriginTimeout errors in the Health Probes logs.
We have two backend web servers set up, one primary, one failover. IP addresses for backend webservers and associated hostnames are open to the Azure IP ranges.
I want to make sure this solution is working 100% before fully committing, but these errors keep cropping up many times a day.
I want to know two things:
- Is this normal behaviour?
- Will this mark the origin as unhealthy?
We have checked that the firewall is not blocking anything, ran constant pings and latency checks with zero packet loss etc. - all appears ok!
