Installing SQL Server 2019 Developer on Windows 11

When I upgraded my laptop from Windows 10 to 11 back in February, 2022, my local instance of SQL Server 2019 Developer stopped working (would not start). I guess this was a common issue at the time. Before I try upgrading to Windows 11 again, I wanted to ask if anyone knows if this issue has been fixed? Thanks

Yes and no. Presumably you ran into an issue which is discussed in this article, which also suggests workarounds. But the issue as such has not been addressed.

    Hi @Eric Van Buren ,

It seems not. But if you get the error message as below document mentioned, you can try the workaround from this document.
