Azure VM CPU is high on box but Azure Monitor shows 20% all the time.

Azure VM CPU is high on box but Azure Monitor shows 20% all the time.

I have an Aure VM that is always maxed out. When I check Azure monitor is shows it's not and never has been. I mean it gets sooo slow it's hard to move in the box. The box has 8 CPUs and 32gb. I'm running only Manage Engine Recovery Manager Plus on it. Backing up to Azure blob storage.

Are you sure it's the CPU that's maxed out? What does Task Manager tell you?

Under CPU% it will say 99%. The processes taking up that is mainly Zulu Platform x64 Architecture and Anti-Malware scanner. I did go ahead and exclude antimalware and zulu from defender. That seems have help a tiny bit but then zulu still go full tilt and go right back up to 95%.
