Please see below where we’ve got an open ticket for an issue we’re experiencing with Company Portal on iOS in our Endpoint Manager environment.
To give you some background, we retired Skype for Business about 2 years ago. The app was unassigned from all groups and the ‘Show as featured app’ setting changed to No.
Despite this, the app remained showing under both ‘Featured’ as well as ‘Recently Published’.
More recently we attempted to remove it from our Endpoint Manager environment and received the below message:
We managed to make some changes in Apple Business Manager and we were then able to remove it from Endpoint Manager, however it still remains in both the ‘Featured’ and ‘Recently Published’ sections on newly enrolled iOS devices despite not appearing anywhere within our Endpoint Manager configuration.
We are experiencing the same issue with Yammer, and whilst we do want to be able to retain this app we need to be able to control how and where it appears as we have certain groups who should not have access to this app.
