Hello,

In some PC's running win10 we've encountered an issue with the Onedrive sync (latest Ver):

  1. when creating a new file or a folder using the web interface, it sync to the local folder
  2. when editing a file from the local folder, that was created using the web interface it sync to cloud
  3. and here is the issue, when creating a new file or a folder in the local folder it doesn't sync to cloud

I get no error message, it looks like the Onedrive agents doesn't notice that there was a change in the synced folder.

hope one of you great minds will help me to solve this issue.

thank you,
Elad Strosberg

    Hello there!

Does the issue happen if you create a folder within/inside a folder that was created on the browser (and then sync locally)?
If so, what is the status of the OneDrive app when you create the folder? Does it get stuff on "Processing changes" or just shows nothing at all, for example?

    • Or does any icon appear next to the Folder?

In any case you could try resetting OneDrive as described in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/reset-onedrive-34701e00-bf7b-42db-b960-84905399050c

    • "OneDrive will perform a full sync after the reset."
    • "You won't lose any data by resetting or uninstalling OneDrive."

    Hope this helps!
