I'm planning to upgrade our mail system from 2013 to 2019, so I need your help to set a plan to perform this upgrade depend on our existing environment as below :
1- Domain Server 2012 R2 .
2 - Exchange 2013 with CU22 (2 Mail Box Server with DAG) .
3 - 2 Cas Server (With Zen Load Balance ) .
4 - 1 Archiving Server for mail box.
so I need your help to perform this upgrade without stopping the existing mail system .

how to do that on MS Exchange 2019
Since Exchange 2019 only has two roles, as Ashok mentioned above,
you just need to deploy two Exchange 2019 servers,create a DAG and add them to it.
Do I need to upgrade the Domain Server 2012 R2 to Domain Server 2019?
You don't have to, as Domain Server 2012 R2 can support both Exchange 2013 and 2019.
However, if upgraded to Domain Server 2019, it can't support Exchange 2013.
If you are considering upgrading for better performance, you should do it after you decommission the Exchange 2013 servers.
For the Archiving Server, how to move it, do I need to install new server with MS exchange server 2019 ?
If you need a standalone server for archiving,it is recommended to deploy a third Exchange 2019 server.

Thx for your help, I have another problem, I wanna to deploy MS Exchange 2019 on site A, and MS Exchange 2019 on site B, I have a VPN connection between the two site, and I have two real IP one for site A, and one for site B, I wan to make this two real IPs work as Failover cluster, I mean if someone send email from outside the company. the request goes to failover cluster so the available MS Exchange 2019 will handle this request, so how to do that ?

Hi,
You can configure the load balancer and have the Exchange 2019 servers as the nodes to load balance the traffic. Load balancer will have the Virtual IP (VIP) and will load balance the actual IP's of the Exchange server. For specific scenario, to receive emails from external, MX record pointed to the public IP which will be NAT'ed and reach the load balancer. Also, the hops would change if you have the email filtering solution.

Continued to this question, I would need to Extend or switchover DAGs from exchange 2013 (datacenter A) to exchange 2016 (Datacenter B), is this possible? if yes what are the steps :-)?
