Hi Team,

We are migrating SMB file servers to Microsoft teams. On this process we have detected hundred Excel files using Macros that are not compatible with web version from teams. To fix it, we have implemented a GPO policy to enable SharePoint online in view explorer -edge-:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/SharePoint/sharepoint-view-in-edge

also, we have recommended use "Sync" to work with these files:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/view-sharepoint-files-in-file-explorer-66b574bb-08b4-46b6-a6a0-435fd98194cc

despite we are using both solutions, the users are reporting that they have problems running Macro files from File explorer. Seems to be the issue appear when users are running files at the same time -report that file only can be use in read mode-. When user close the file from file explorer, still appear busy like if user cannot run the check-in on file.

There are any way to fix it?

I had forgotten to close the thread. the Issue appeared in some users that were using old excel version without collaborative mode. If all users are using last O365 version, Macros work fine
