The associated backup policy is inconsistent

I'm getting the warning notification "The associated backup policy is inconsistent" on all the VMs for which I'm using Azure backup. I'm only able to see that this was an ongoing problem back in September of this year but I haven't seen a post that this was resolved by Microsoft. I'm not able to open a support ticket with MIcrosoft Azure in the portal, I'm only gettting the suggestions window and I can't get past this. Is this issue still ongoing?

    It seems this was a known issue from the backend and it was made aware to the Product Group, check this similar thread on this case error-message-34the-associated-backup-policy-is-in.html

    I don't have the option "Click here to fix the issue" as stated on the other post that you sent me the link Jimmy. Is there a new update on when this might get fix on the Microsoft side?
