eDiscovery -Mailboxes from Migrated Tenant

Trying to run an eDiscovery search on mailboxes for migrated users from another tenant, however, using the time range in eDiscovery, it will not provide email for dates when email was actually received only from when the mailbox was migrated.

So if search is 2019/1/1 - 2020/1/1 there will not be any results

Is there a way to force the search to look at the original timestamp of emails on a migrated mailbox?

    @KyleXu-MSFT

    New information:

    Email was migrated from old tenant to new tenant. User account that I am trying to search was deleted before migration -at the time subject to 18 month retention.

    Because new UPN and old alias does not exist in new tenant I am having to search for “participants” during a specific date range. While I am getting some data it does not seem to be consistent.
