Windows 11 Enterprise Subscription is Active, but Windows is not Activated (Error Code: 0xC004C003)

Hello everyone!

I have a Microsoft 365 Business Premium license assigned to me by my organization and this license includes Windows 10/11 Business licenses. I have Windows 11 Enterprise installed on company provided laptop but when I try to activate my windows I get the error "0xC004C003" while the subscription state is active.

When I try to troubleshoot the activation issue I get the error saying "Troubleshooting has completed. We can't activate your copy of Windows. Make sure you're connected to the Internet and try again. If you're connected to the Internet and continue seeing this problem, contact your system administrator for more information." but my internet connection is working fine. I have tried to reconnect the device to the internet and I have also changed the internet connection but when I try to troubleshoot the activation issue I got the same error again.

I have also tried to use Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant but got the same error "0xC004C003".

Note: The device is already enrolled with AzureAD using the organization's work account

Any suggestions on how can I get the issue resolved?

    Hi @Muhammad Osama Khalid

    You cannot directly upgrade Windows 11 Home license to Windows 11 Enterprise. You will need to upgrade your license to Pro to utilize the Enterprise licensing.

    If you want to use your Home licensing without Enterprise, I suggest you do a clean install of Windows 11 Home.
