Speech to text API transcription duration

We were using Speech To Text API 3.0 and have been experiencing some problems due to transcription duration last few days, and we have decided to migrate to the 3.1 version, we thought maybe the 3.0 version was already deprecated.

But, timings referring to transcription are the same if not even worse, one week ago transcription could last up to 50% of the audio duration, but today we are experiencing up to x4 in transcription.

Does it is a performance issue of azure services? Have timings changed from 50% to x4 (or whatever) from now on? Or it can be the result of another aspect?

    Hi, thanks for replying. We always test with 30s audio length, and times used to be around less than 15s, from Sunday-Monday it increased to 4 minutes, we have our region in north Europe.

    Nevertheless, we are testing again today (with both v3.0 and preview v3.1) and the transcription time has come back to normality, maybe it was a one-time performance issue.
