I know Process Explorer uses registry instead of files like a good portable app would and that the registry is at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sysinternals\Process Explorer".

I'm sick of setting up Columns sets for the billionth time so I'd like to backup a saved col;umn set. Its not in that registry key and its not in the local filessystem. Can someone please tell me where it is stored?

    '+1 on that

...well, I actually had some success by tweaking my original export from HKEY_CURRENT_USER and re-importing it into HKU\uuid :

    from :
    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sysinternals\Process Explorer\ColumnSet0
    to HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1549993580-1326954523-1790782792-1003\Software\Sysinternals\Process Explorer\ColumnSet0

Also had to change NumColumnSets (mind the off-by-1 -> it starts at 0 for the first saved column set)
