how to disable SQLISPackage event Logging to Windows Application Log

Hi

We want to disable logging of 12291 events to the Windows Application log. We tried setting Startup Parameter adding '-n' so that SQL server event does not write to the Windows application log and the SQLISPackage event does not occur.
But the SQLISPackage (12291 event) is still written to the Windows Application log after a few days.
I want to know why? & does anyone know how to get this done?
