Hi everyone,

We recently had a Microsoft Teams Room installed and everyone is raving about it :) so that is good. This installation has been a hit with the VC's office and most of the VIP meetings or Board meetings now take place as hybrid meetings within this space. as sometimes the attendance can be mixed (either within the room or remotely) one functionality that they would really like is the ability to see on the screen the chat. We don't have any issues with video transmission or sharing content but it seems that there is no way to turn on chat view in the Microsoft Teams Rooms panel.

Is this functionality missing from the Teams Rooms?

    Hi @Cris

Actually, Chat in the meeting feature can be disabled by the admin in the organization. Also, the organizer of the meeting can also set permissions for chat bubbles. You can contact admin to

verify this point. Please refer to the steps below:

    1. Sign in Teams admin center, expand Meetings> Meeting policies.
    2. Verify Allow chat in the meetings feature is enable in the meeting policy assigned for users.
