Color or Greyscale ?

My MS-Access DB contains about 400.000 records, each one containing an hyperlink to a jpg image

I wish to develop a VB code to detect if each image is Color or Greyscale and tag each record with the result

i know that such a test can't be perfect but i don't mind if the result present some mistakes

could some one provide me such VB code ?
