How do add devices to Intune that are already Azure AD joined

I've just upgraded from M365 Business Standard to M365 Business Premium and trying to set up devices with Endpoint Manager/Intune.

We already have a bunch of Azure AD joined devices that we need to a Intune to but I can't seem to find any help anywhere on how to do this.

The 'automatic enrollment' option doesn't seem to work for devcies already joined via Azure AD join. What are my next steps? Is there a way to automatically enroll them after the fact or do I just need people to install the Company Portal App? All the help an tutorials I've found seem to have missed this wrinkle out so any help would be great.

    Hi Dale,

Letting people install the company portal app is one way, but did you take a look at this article:
    https://call4cloud.nl/2020/05/intune-auto-mdm-enrollment-for-devices-already-azure-ad-joined/#part2

I think it explains verry clearly the steps you'll need to take.
I hope it will help you.

    Kind regards

Thank you so much. This looks exactly like it.

As a note for others, the Company Portal app didn't work for me. I got a "Your device is already connected to your organisation" Error
