Block Users in Teams

Please i need your help on this issue.

Two of our users were blocked more than two weeks ago users.

They are still displayed in the organizational structure of the company in Teams.

We checked in the browser in incognito mode and cleared the cache of the desktop application, but without changes.

The users are no longer in the teams admin center and they appear as blocked for AAD

But they still exist on the organizational chat for the organization.

if you click on the organization chat in test tenant you will see that a blocked user still exist

The Organization tab shows an organizational chart of Microsoft Teams. The organizational relationships shown below. You need to add it manually, and the absence of this view does not mean that there is no such user in the organization.

Regarding blocking user chats, Microsoft Teams offers limited blocking options. If you only block individual chats, but they can still send and receive messages in group chats. You need to remove participants from the group to stop receiving messages from them. This is by design.

If you want to get this feature quickly, I have found a feedback in Teams UserVoice and you could vote for it. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
