Can the SPMT migrate to a site address

Question

How do we go about migrating from the server to a site address? I would like to migrate all data into an already created companydomain.sharepoint.com/sites/KS instead the migration moves to a generic communication site.

I feel like there's a simple solution and maybe my brain is over-thinking..

I can't change the destination as the migration tool won't allow / in the destination site.

What is the type of KS site collection?

Per my test, when you select a destination, you could enter the SharePoint site where you want to migrate your content, such as already created companydomain.sharepoint.com/sites/KS.
