Team channel not showing redirected email from external senders

When we redirect messages from a mailbox to a teams channel. No external senders email is showing in the channel
If we send a mail direct to the teams channel it will show. Both from internal and external senders.
If we look in Message trace the message status i "Delivered"

    Hi @conaxx

    I tested in my lab and it was the same behavior.

    To me I suppose the possible cause here may be:
    The Teams channel emails are managed by the Teams mailhook tenant( and also powered by EOP (Exchange Online Protection).
    The redirected email may be marked as spam by EOP and not delivered to the channel as expected.

    If possible I would suggest creating a service request in Microsoft 365 admin center for further investigation.
