O365 tenant migration

Hi,

We need to migrate source tenant users (xyz.com) to target tenant (abc.com). And their primary address remains same i.e. xyz.com

Below is the scenario.

  1. Source Tenant:- Purely cloud user no AD accounts. Need to migrate to Target Tenant with domain as well.
  2. Target Tenant:- Have a hybrid AD setup means AD user synced to cloud and have exchange online mailboxes.

Please provide your suggestion and roadmap.

    Here is detailed information for you:

    1. Cross tenant migration from Source Tenant to Target Tenant. (After this step, mailboxes will use the target tenant default domain temporarily, such as domain.onmicrosoft.com)
    2. Remove domain name from the source tenant, then verify this domain on target domain. Then you will could use the xyz.com on target tenant.
    3. If you want to sync those migrated mailboxes account to local AD, you could follow this article: A user has an account in Office 365 but not in local Active Directory
