Mounting file share to app service

Hi Team,

Is it possible to mount an Azure file share to app service?

Refer to the docs that provide the steps needed to do this. Note that you need to configure your app like the example, it doesn't just work out of the box. I haven't tried it myself but it also looks like you have to be using containers (which is where you configure the share). A simple app service isn't a container and wouldn't allow it, but I could be wrong.

@salilsingh-9961 Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A. You can refer to this documentation on how to mount the Azure storage account file share to the Windows/ linux app which has publish methods with either code/container and this is currently in preview.

Just to be sure on above, mounting a storage account file share on app service where published method is code, is in preview, correct?
While mounting a storage account file share on app service where published method is ,container, is not in preview, correct?

@salilsingh-9961 As mentioned in the documentation currently Mounting Azure Storage as a local share for App Service on Windows code (non-container) is currently in preview and also mounting azure storage file share to webapps windows container, Linux code and container are not in preview.
