Power BI Service: How does connected scorecard metrics refresh their values?

Hi,

I am creating connected scorecard metrics for which I use values from a report that pulls data from Azure analysis services server. I select the data and it is being correctly imported into the scorecard. However, it seems that when the report data is refreshed with new data, the scorecard metric is not updated, and using the refresh button in the scorecard does not help with the issue as well. I looked into power bi documentations but have not seen anything on metric refreshing.

I'd be interested to find out how Power BI refreshes connected scorecard metrics, links to documentation or explanations would be appreciated.
