Automate creating internet shortcuts in a folder from links in a Word document

I am trying to automate manual steps in a process. I must open multiple links in a Word document (Word 2021) one at a time, then drag each link to the folder. I'd like to do it all in one or two steps. Preferably, I could use a step or two to simply create all the shortcuts in the folder from all the links in the Word doc.

This issue can be solved by a script. We will add a tag of script to it.

Charles is adding a tag, not a script. To create your VBA script, do an internet search using terms like Word VBA create shortcut and Word VBA batch process.
