suddenly Asp.Net site not connecting to the Azure DB . it was working till yesterday.

Question

I am getting below error when my website is connecting from godaddy server website to Azure DB. Please suggest what i can do to resolbve this issue. Same Database with connecting string is connecting from other Servers.

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

Hi,

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.

My first guess is that your IP changed.

Check that the IP of the machine with app was not changed. Make sure that the Azure SQL Database firewall is open to that IP. Notice that your connection did not even reach the server but was blocked before it (optionally by the firewall)
