Can't use authenticator app

Hi, my company is using authenticator app for services such as power bi service. I installed the app and tried to login using my work credentials that I also use for power bi service but the app then asks me to open then authenticator app and approve the sign in?? I'm already in the app haha.
Also if I now try to login to power bi service on my laptop it asks me to approve the sign in on the app which I can't use, if I click on I can't use the app it still loops around to get me to use the app.
I have no idea what or how to fix this issue, any ideas?
