Issues controlling Windows host from iPad RDP App

Since a few weeks i am having trouble controlling my headless Windows 11 machine.
I usually control this machine using Microsoft RDP client on my iPad Pro12.9" (2020) but recently i seem to be able to connect and the desktop becomes visible, but i cannot click anything or even get the RDP keyboard to pass "key presses".
Strange thing is, if i connect to the same machine using my Win 11 laptop, everything works fine, but the really weird thing is this seem to "enable" control from the iPad app also?
So next time i connect using the iPad app, everything works fine!
