Farm Backup fails on Search Service

SP2019 On-Prem using MinRoles

Executing a Farm Backup fails on the Search Service Application, using CA or PowerShell.
It fails at OnPrepareBackup, mention of a CryptographicException

All my SP servers have recent, unexpired certs from a valid Certificate Authority.

Permissions on the fileshare backup folder are appropriate.

The spbackup.log and ULS logs do not provide more information, only a failure of each search component to be backed up.

EventID: nasn

Any ideas?

Did you refer to this article to configure Search Service Application backup?
Whether both CA and PowerShell have the same error? Please provide some screenshots of the error report and the log files with hidden private information so that we can better understand and solve the problem.

If you receive any errors, you can review them in the Failure Message column of the Backup and Restore Job Status page. You can also find more details in the Spbackup.log file at the UNC path that you specified in step 6.
