Why is MacBook Pro restarting while using Remote Desktop app?

Been using the Mac App Store Microsoft Remote Desktop app for quite some time (started on Monterey), but after the upgrade to Ventura almost daily the Mac hard crashes due to the app and restarts. (The app says for errors, contact via Help > Submit Feedback, but that brings to https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/AzureVirtualDesktop which doesn't seem like the right place, but if it is I will re-post)

Any suggestions would be much appreciated as it is a major inconvenience.

Have you tried reinstalling the app?
Does the Mac itself crash, or the app?
If it is the Mac itself, are you sure it is the app causing a full crash of the Mac, that does sound unlikely.

Consider reinstalling the app and/or Mac OSX (or go back to an old version (restore?) and reattempt it, followed by another upgrade).

I am also on a Macbook (also M1), Running Ventura, without these issues stated.

Hope this helps, if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask them!
