As mentioned by the MVP, this is an issue that needs to be resolved by your school's IT administrator.
There is a known limitation around existing Outlook Contacts sharing email addresses with invited users, and we have a pending item to improve this experience. I've seen the error you mentioned thrown when this is the case, and suspect this might be what is going on. If so, your school's IT admin needs to try the following to unblock your account:
1) Remove Invited user
2) Delete Outlook contact
3) Reinvite user
This needs to be resolved by your IT admin though, as we do not have access in the forums to account information or permissions.
