I saw many APIs show that the minimum supported client or server version is:

Minimum supported client Windows XP [desktop apps | UWP apps]
Minimum supported server Windows Server 2003 [desktop apps | UWP apps]
"
Actually, many APIs can also work with Windows 2000.
The reason that limiting the minimum supported OS is that Microsoft didn't support Windows 2000 for longer years then remove support on API documents, but not the Windows 2000 don't support the API?
