1) Consider adding one of the compatibility tags to the thread: windows-10-application-compatibility
2) Make free backup images and save the images to another disk drive or the cloud
(Acronis, Aoemi, EaseUS, Macrium, Paragon, etc.)

These are trial and error steps.
If you encounter any problems an image can be restored.
Then another trial and error step can be performed.
3) Completely uninstall the driver > use default Microsoft drivers as needed > perform an upgrade
4) Backup important files to another disk drive or the cloud > clean install Windows 10 using gatherosstate.exe > install a working Realtek driver > test the compatibility of Realtek drivers using Windows 10
