I use a macros in excel to complete certificates for my business using a dotm file in word. This has been working fine until 3 days ago. Now after the first certificate it says "the last time you opened <file> it created a serious issue. Do you wanted to open it again?". I have tried googling answers to no avail as I have office 365 and they all seem to be for older versions.
I have tried re-installing office 365, closing the program, updating the program, deleting and loading an older version of the file, turning off add ins, looking for disabled files, none of these things work.
When it happens it creates an issue where in task manager there are several versions of word open yet none I can see open. If I close all open microsoft word programs in task manager there is still the error, until i click on allow.
This is super frustrating as it is making a few seconds task into a minute long task every time I do it and I have no idea what to do to fix it. Help?!
