How long does it take to delete a SQL management instance?

I checked the deletion of SQL Managed Instance from MS Docs as below. Is it correct that deleting a non-last SQL Managed Instance from a virtual cluster takes several minutes?

Hi,@안 남기 Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Yes, when it's the last instance it takes longer as it has to remove the cluster too.
As explained in the document it is by design the MI create or delete process takes a long time.
There is nothing on your end you can do to speed up the process,

Does it take less than 10 minutes to delete a non-last SQL management instance from a virtual cluster?

@안 남기 what do you mean by the last non-final? it's either the last instance or it isn't?

If you delete a single SQL management instance from a virtual cluster with multiple SQL management instances, I would like to ask if it will be deleted in less than 10 minutes.

@안 남기 we don't guarantee anything. These are estimates, these mileage may vary

depends - keep in mind what causes the creation of different clusters in the same subnet - ie.. different hardware, different maintenance windows, etc.
the big difference is sync vs. async deletion last is always sync whereas others are async

Understand that deleting a single SQL management instance from a virtual cluster with multiple SQL management instances takes less time than deleting the last instance.
