Outlook will not sync tasks across computers

This morning I changed 7 or 8 tasks on my home computer in Outlook 365. When I got to work, my changes were not reflected in Outlook tasks. I tried to Sync the Tasks folder, but that did not work. Per my Google search, I went into my account and hit Change and unchecked "Use Cached Exchange Mode" and restarted Outlook. When I did, the issue was NOT resolved AND the "Cached Mode" checked itself back on! No matter how many times I try, I cannot Turn Off Cached Exchange Mode.

What am I doing wrong and how can I FORCE Outlook to sync?

    Hi @Dom ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Log in to webmail, check if the changes are synchronized to the server, if it is already synchronized on the web, open the Outlook client, go to the Send/Receive menu > click Update folder.

Besides, to disable Exchange cached mode, you may need modify the following group policy:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\outlook\cached mode
    DWORD: Enable
    Value: 0

If the path does not exist in the registry, you need to add the key and value manually:
Right click on the Outlook and select New > Key
    270227-new.png
    Name this key: cached mode
    270283-cached.png
Under cached mode path, right click and select New > DWORD,
    270278-enable.png
Restart Outlook and the “Use Exchange Mode” option should be grayed out.
