Edit distribution for Alerts

I inherited SSRS from my predecessor who is no longer available. I have no problem setting up Subscription for Reports but now I have encountered an "Alert." I don't need to edit the Alert itself, but merely change the distribution of who it is sent to. This process eludes me and my Google searches do not provide any straightforward answers. This seems like it would be very simple to do, but hitting "Manage" on the report in SSRS on the Web does not produce any useable results. The only tool I have at my disposal is Visual Studio so I thought I could edit the RDL there, but it is not something I see under Solutions Explorer. Nor can I "Add Existing" as it is not in the directory where we store RDL files.

I can open the file in Report Builder, but, again, I do not see any place to modify the distribution list. What exactly am I missing?

Thanks.

    Hi @Dom ,
Are you using SSRS2016 or earlier Edition? Do you mean Reporting Services Data Alerts?
If you need to change the email settings, please refer to: To edit a data alert definition in Data Alert Designer.
    Best Regards,

Yes, we are using SQL Server 2016. I guess that is the primary issue: Where do I find and how do I open this Data Alert Designer? I have the report open in Visual Studio. I followed your links and it says:

"To open Data Alert Designer, you click the New Data Alert option on the Actions menu on the report toolbar."

In VS, I do not see an "Actions" toolbar. If I open the alert from SSRS web interface, I also do not see any "Actions" menu.

Am I looking in the wrong place? If I could find and open this Data Alert Designer, I'm sure I could figure it out.
