I recently bought a laptop with the following features
Windows 11 Home

Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400H @ 2.70GHz 2.69 GHz

Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.71 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

And these are the characteristics of my previous team.

Windows 10 PRO

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.70 GHz

Installed RAM 12.0 GB (11.9 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

When running WSL I notice that the consumption on my old computer is only approximately 450mb of RAM, while on the new computer in Windows 11 it consumes almost double (750mb)

Why is this, additional in windows 11 runs an additional WSL process

I already have the latest updates in both windows.
