conditional access with licence standard business and one licence P1

Question

Hi
a customer has standard business licenses and an azure ad P1 premium license, can we deploy the conditional access functionality ? To whom should this P1 license be assigned?

Thank you for reaching out. As per Conditional Access we would require Azure AD Premium P1 licenses to be applied to users who would be using this feature.

Azure AD P1 is sufficient for conditional access policies, and needs to be applied to any user subject to a policy. Refer to the official documentation for more details: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/conditional-access/overview#license-requirements

HARPREET-MSFT and MICHEV thank you for your answer, so if I understand correctly, if I have to include a group for conditional access, the members of the group must all have a premium P1 license
