Windows security services

Question

My windows security service is missing in services app. In security center say window can't start security. In uptade and security virus and threats protection never open. Please help me

What operating system is installed? What errors are in the system event log? Is this a new install? Domain joined or not?

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Security center.

Press Windows + R -> Type "gpedit.msd " and press enter -> go to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Defender Security Center -> Virus and threat protection. -> Set 'Hide the Virus and threat protection area' setting to Not Configured -> Reboot your computer.
