I have two accounts, my personal 365account and my work email, and it's strange that when l received a meeting invite in my work email, it turns out to be added to my 365account.

    Hi @daren pang ,

and it's strange that when l received a meeting invite in my work email, it turns out to be added to my 365account.

Does this affect all meeting invites you received in Outlook?
What's the type of the email accounts? Are both of them configured as Exchange accounts? You can view the account type via File > Account Settings > Account Settings.

In case it's due to the misconfiguration of the default data file, please go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Data tab, make sure your work email account's Outlook data file is set as the default one:

If the issue persists, I'd recommend trying to create a new Outlook profile, then add your work email account before the personal account and see if it can work as expected.
