Exchange online SMTP Replied email address replaced with @www.domain.com

Dear Experts,

We have quite a number of users who used Linux system and configured our domain mailbox there. Recently we received quite some complaints mentioning when others replied to their email message, the target recipient address got changed, correctly it should be username@keyman .com, however when they replied, it was replied to username@www .domain.com.

Any idea what might have gone wrong with this? It was not one single case so I think it's worth digging deeper to see what's going on.

Will users encounter the same problem when they use OWA or windows outlook client to send and receive emails?

Hi @Jame Xu-MSFT ,

We are dealing with very tough users who rejected to use any other clients but Linux.

Any idea we can check further without using oultook or OWA?

You could check the UPN and the accepted domain, is there username@www .domain.com in the accepted domain?
