cannot send emails on one of two email accounts on a Microsoft exchange server

Question

on a 365 outlook laptop i have 3 email addresses , one on (icloxx.com) (imap/smtp) two on the same Microsoft Exchange one (@totalxxxx.com) and (@mokanxxxxx.org.) I cannot send emails out of mokan but it will receive from other locations. I can send from icloxxx and totalxxxx. From my IPAD I can send emails from mokan and all works fine . i just cannot send from mokan on the laptop. The mokan emails go to the outbox and i get an error message (0x8004010F) if i return an email in mokan too totalxxxx it sends an error undeliverable (0x80070005-0x000004dc-0x00000524).. after about 10 seconds the message disappears.

it did work for a little file and then quits. I have used Microsoft Support and Recovery many times. i have also used SCANPST.EXE many times. I did find the fix for 0x80070005 and installed it.

i access the Microsoft Exchange server from a static ip address thru Brightspeed internet at my residence. I know nothing about the exchange server and enough about 365 to get me in trouble.
All other users are on site where the exchange servers are located. I am most likely the only person using 2 email addresses from the server off site. the software is a 365 enterprise version. . i did notice on the website there were two articles on using 2 email address on the same server. not sure it that is what i have. one titled Configure Exchange to accept mail for multiple authoritative domains 08-09-22 the other Outlook 2010 - Multiple Exchange Accounts - Won't send from second account.

I am thinking about sending it in to get repaired. IT department has tried for several months. not sure if it is a server or laptop issue.

In order to narrow down the issue, I would like to confirm with you whether you can send messages via mokanxxx.org mailbox in OWA?
You can find the Outlook Web App URL by clicking File->Info in Outlook.

If it works, please refer to the following link to try recreating a new profile to see if the issue persists:

In addition, to rule out version effects,please update the Outlook client to the latest version.
