Question

Why in Outlook when trying to create an appointment, and now we have gone from a One step process, to now a three step process to send that appointment to workmates?

Meaning when you go to create the Appointment, and you go to invite a person to the appointment, it turns the appointment into a TEAMS MEETING, then now you have to go and click the DON'T HOST, now Microsoft has made a one step process into a three step process.

This needs to be fixed as not to turn an appointment into an actual meeting.

Hi @scott ferrin ,

Welcome to our forum!

As i know, this issue will occur when you enable the "Add online meeting to all meetings" option. Please unselect it via File>Options>Calendar>Calendar options>Add Meeting Provider.

As a supplement, after you enable this option, it will also automatically become a Teams meeting when you create a new meeting.
