Teams Channel Calendar App - Attendee Reply to the Meeting Organizer

I have created a Calendar channel tab within one of my Teams groups. When I create meetings from the channel and my attendees click 'Reply' from the appointment in their Outlook inbox it sends the replies to the Teams group email account rather than my email account. I do receive an email when an attendee clicks 'Reply All'.. but then so does everyone else in the meeting.

A few questions -

  1. If I create meetings in a channel, am I the meeting organizer or is the Teams group the meeting organizer and I am just coordinating an event on behalf of the Teams group?
  2. If I am the meeting organizer, is there a way for attendees to reply direct to me?
  3. What is the purpose of adding a co-organizer to a meeting created thru a Teams channel? Can they receive direct messages?

    Hi @Caroline

If you created the meeting, you're the meeting organizer. In the meeting, there will be information similar to the following.

When you join a meeting, you can chat with attendees under the Chat tab. And the chat will also be notified in the activity bar on the left.

Co-organizers are displayed as additional organizers in the meeting participant list and have most of the capabilities of the meeting organizer. Details such as meeting settings. After you've invited people to your meeting, you can add up to 10 co-organizers to help manage your meeting.
