I'd check with the hardware vendor about support for the environment setup.

I am trying to move my I know obsolete Windows 7 or 8.1 (depending on which will work) to a Hyper-V virtual server. I have a Ceton InfiniTV 4 card in my motherboard, it has the Ceton drivers in the main Windows 2022 OS, and shows all good. Can tune channels thru the Ceton test app.
I setup a Windows 7 VM in Hyper-V and added in the Ceton card as a legacy network card. I am able to see the card and access it's web console thru 192.168.200.1. I can load WMC and it sees the tuners. However it complains there is no channel to be found and when I try to watch something thru an xBox 360 extender it connects fine but when I try to access live TV I get an error that the Service is Unavailable. Can provide more details but thought i'd start there. Any thoughts on how to get something like this working thru the virtual? Note the Ceton card also shows it can tune the channels fine thru the app but of course you can't physically see that.
Thoughts?
I'd check with the hardware vendor about support for the environment setup.

No, the vendor has been gone for years.
Sorry so far I have a non answer. See that a lot from someone in this forum. Unless no one else participates not how forums work, you leave them open for others to answer and not flag someone saying your answer wasn't the answer as the answer.
It seems unlikely the environment is supported, but no one here knows. Since the vendor is gone, you may need to find some newer supported hardware, or keep the existing working environment.

Please note that this TV card may be not supported due to Compatibility and may not work in Virtualized environment.
