For whatever reason I cannot sign in to my PC. I am running windows 11. The user shown on the login screen is Administrator. It's not taking my local password. I tried my Microsoft account password, but it's not taking it either. When I say reset Password, it asks for USB Reset disc which I dont have. Any idea how to get through this?

Thanks

I tried my Microsoft account password,

That's not going to work for the local admin account. You could try "other user" and sign on with your microsoft account (assumes you have set that up previously)

The user shown on the login screen is Administrator.

Looks like you've built-in admin account enabled. Usually it doesn't have password associated, you just need to click Sign in or press Enter.

Once you sign in, create your own admin account and login to it. Then if you like, you can disable built-in admin (Administrator) account with this command:

    net user Administrator password /active:no
